The roof tree display was built in 1998. The first year I learned a valuable lesson
on the force of the wind up on a roof. One of the trees was blown off the roof and
others tipped. In 1999 we built a major foundation for the trees. In 2000 we had 70+
mph winds that actually blew some of the siding off this end of our house but the trees
stayed up.
